Papilio, available as both a chair and stool in two heights, seamlessly transitions between formal and informal settings. Inspired by the wings of a butterfly (or “Papilio” in Latin), it invites users to lean against its back for a relaxed posture. The design achieves formal balance through a consistent shell thickness and a sinuous seat that gracefully merges with the lightweight steel frame. Upholstered in leather or fabric, Papilio features a removable cover secured by a metal zipper on the back, a functional and stylish detail that defines the entire line of chairs bearing the same name.
