Designed by Erwan Bouroullec, Maap explores the relationship between geometry, natural forms, and light. Its ultralight membrane, reminiscent of paper, is intentionally crumpled during installation, transforming a precise structure into a unique luminous composition. Suspended like a cloud, Maap diffuses a soft, ambient glow across the space. Both sculptural and adaptable, its ever-changing form creates a landscape of light that is at once simple, expressive, and endlessly unique. Wall lamp emitting diffused light. LED sources mounted on an iron support fixed to a round iron back plate. Lamp body in ultra-lightweight tear-resistant fibre material. Casing magnetically secured to the metal frame using large magnetic buttons. Designed to be manually crumpled to create its final form.
