Description

Parentesi is a groundbreaking lighting design created by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù in 1971. This iconic lamp features a minimalistic yet innovative structure, with a vertical tension cable that allows the light source to be positioned anywhere along its length. The lamp’s simple design includes a small, movable light fixture suspended between two points—one anchored to the ceiling and the other attached to the floor, making it highly versatile. Parentesi is celebrated for its unique combination of functionality and elegance, offering both direct and adjustable lighting. Its ability to blend seamlessly into various interiors, from modern to industrial spaces, has made it a timeless design. The lamp is available in various finishes and has become a symbol of Flos’ commitment to cutting-edge design and technical innovation.
