With C 5501, GTV inaugurates the new Continuum collection, dedicated to the contemporary reinterpretation of its historic archive. The chair, featuring a swivel base, interprets the formal codes that have defined the brand’s identity with a current sensibility, translating them into an object that is essential, fluid and surprisingly versatile.Its distinctive character lies in the continuous gesture of the bent wood, which naturally traces the armrests and structure in a single enveloping line. The softness of the forms enters into dialogue with the constructive precision of the base, while the seat embraces the body with balance and comfort, conveying a visual presence that is at once light and authoritative. The chair, crafted in solid beech wood, is available in a version with double upholstery or with seat and backrest woven in Viennese cane, offering different material and expressive interpretations.
